I’m Ready to Know is an initiative of REACH Nexus. REACH Nexus is an ambitious national research group working on how to address HIV, Hepatitis C and other STBBIs (sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections) in Canada. Our focus is on reaching the undiagnosed, implementing and scaling up new testing options, strengthening connections to care, improving access to options for prevention (PrEP and PEP) and ending HIV stigma.

REACH Nexus is part of MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions at St. Michael’s Hospital, Unity Health Toronto, and is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.

Our community-based, health system and business partners

Building the I’m Ready program has been a partnership effort with many collaborators, including REACH Nexus’s community-based partners: Canadian Foundation For AIDS Research, Women’s Health in Women’s Hands, The Canadian HIV/AIDS Black, African and Caribbean Network and the Community-Based Research Centre. The I’m Ready team has also built and continues to nurture relationships with provincial ministries and regional health authorities, local community-based AIDS service organizations and various creative firms.

REACH Nexus regularly partners with universities, community-based organizations and research institutions all across Canada. This initiative stretches us to bring in new sectors and partners around the table so we can all work together to end the HIV epidemic in Canada.
